Lucky Anchor Quilt Society was born out of a growing need for quilters and other textile artists affiliated with the military to have a space to share their artwork. The anchor represents my role as a Navy spouse, and my hometown of Annapolis, Maryland. The lucky clover symbolizes faith, hope, love, and luck— which all military spouses need in their lives. This community was created to empower the creatives who support all branches of the military to showcase their talents and support one another.
I’m a Navy spouse, modern quilter, pattern writer, and maker/collector of bags. After 3 years in Germany, I am now back in Northern VA with my husband, 2 children, and fur baby. I love to travel, read, and volunteer with Girl Scouts.
